Please arrive 15 minutes early in order to fill out the audition form

The audition consists of a one-hour ballet class where the dancers are observed by Monique Zummo Steinhagen, BCB’s Director. The dancers are notified as to acceptance or rejection via an emailed letter. Age requirement is at least 10 years old. If accepted, it would be for the following year, September through March. Yearly Dues of $250 for Junior Company and $300 for Senior Company are paid by in September by the first class held.

Wednesdays, 5:00-6:30 pm

Sundays, 2:00-4:00 pm

BCB Company dancers are guaranteed at least two public performances at the Julie Rogers Theatre. Each year a contract is signed by the dancer and a parent stating they will attend class every week and be available for rehearsals and performances as scheduled. The dancer does not have to be a student at Marsha Woody Academy, but they must be taking at least two ballet classes per week plus a Progressive Ballet Technique class besides the appropriate BCB class listed above.
